I had known both David and Janie for many years when almost 60 years ago I married their first cousin Neil Petrov. You see his mother Clara Pollack was a younger sister to David and Janie’s mother who was raised in a family of eight children in Upper Marlboro, MD. This is where their father owned a large variety store. So childhood friends became family.
